A love letter to your skin, brewed under the full moon and bottled with intention. Venus Toner draws inspiration from legends that span centuries—tales of the Queen of Hungary Water, an elixir created to preserve beauty, vitality, and the radiance that comes from truly caring for yourself.
The earliest mentions of Queen of Hungary Water date back to the 1300s, though its origins remain shrouded in mystery and folklore. The most beloved legend speaks of an aging Queen seeking to preserve her beauty. Her Court Alchemist gifted her a healing elixir that not only maintained her existing radiance but amplified it from within. The results were so remarkable that a 25-year-old Duke proposed marriage. Other tales whisper of Romani cure-alls and reclusive monks, all united in their intent to heal through gentle herbal remedies.
Our version honors Venus—goddess of love, beauty, and the deep nourishment that comes from tending to ourselves with devotion. Crafted 700 years after those first alchemical experiments, this toner carries the same spirit: love and care distilled into botanical form.
Lemon Balm, Lavender, Chamomile, Rose, Calendula, Comfrey, Lemon Peel, Rosemary, Sage, Peppermint, and Elderflower, slow-brewed in Witch Hazel for one full philosophical month.
Each herb was chosen for its traditional skin-supporting properties. Lemon Balm and Lavender calm and balance. Chamomile and Rose soothe and soften. Calendula and Comfrey have been used for generations to support skin healing. Lemon Peel and Rosemary refresh and invigorate. Sage and Peppermint clarify. Elderflower brings its delicate, protective essence. Together, they create a toner that honors both the wisdom of the past and the beauty you carry now.
Apply to cleansed skin using reusable facial rounds, cotton pads, or directly to skin using the dropper and clean hands. Use morning and night for best results. Each application is a small ritual—a moment to pause, breathe, and remember that caring for yourself is an act of devotion.

This balm is an invitation to slow down and tend to your body with intention. Drawing from ancient Highland traditions, my honey and I have crafted a deeply nourishing salve that honors both the land and the old ways of working with plants. Each 4oz jar holds a potent concentration of botanical wisdom—a little truly goes a long way.
Made in collaboration with Bornwear.

∙ Jojoba Oil: A lightweight oil that mirrors the skin’s natural oils, absorbing easily and bringing balance.
∙ Shea Butter: Rich and protective, creating a nurturing barrier that holds moisture close.
∙ Beeswax: The structural foundation of the balm, offering protection from the elements while sealing in the botanical goodness.
∙ Spirulina: A mineral-rich plant ally that lends its vibrant green essence and revitalizing energy to the blend.
Warm a small amount between your fingertips and massage gently into the skin with circular motions. Let the balm absorb fully. Apply as needed, especially when your body calls for extra care and attention.
This work begins not in a laboratory, but in the rugged soil of the Scottish Highlands and the ancient lineage of King Alpin, first of the Scottish royal line. As a direct descendant, my fiancé created this line to honor a heritage of strength, resilience, and deep connection to the land.
In Alpin’s time, the earth provided everything needed to survive and thrive. That relationship with the land—rooted in respect and reciprocity—lives on in every jar we create.
We work with locally sourced botanicals in the Celtic tradition, blending these carefully selected herbs with pure Jojoba and rich Shea. The result is a ritual of self-care that bridges ancient wisdom and modern practice—honoring the body as both temple and vessel.
From the moss-covered glens to the wild herbs of the hills, this balm carries the essence of the Highlands. Each application is an opportunity to connect with the earth, with lineage, and with the simple act of caring for yourself.
